Shoosmiths is recruiting trainee solicitors for its 2028 intake--and this is your chance to get ahead.

As a trainee, you'll work on live cases, collaborate across legal teams, and may have the opportunity to go on secondment. You'll rotate through four six-month seats, gaining hands-on experience in areas like commercial, corporate, litigation, and real estate--with opportunities to explore specialist teams too.

Locations: Scotland, Birmingham, London, Leeds, Manchester

Start Date: September 2028

What You'll Do

Work directly with clients and partners
Develop legal and commercial skills
Develop skills in business development and client management
Take initiative, manage deadlines, and contribute to real legal outcomes

Who Can Apply

Applications are open to students from all degree backgrounds--including non-law and career changers. If you're studying law, you'll need to be in at least your penultimate year. If you're studying a non-law degree, you should be in your final year when applying.
