Job Specifications
Collaboration is at the core of how we operate. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you'll join a highly engaged team that values open dialogue, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
We exchange perspectives on key legal and business matters, challenge each other constructively, and co-create solutions that go beyond a purely legal lens. Our meetings aren't just for alignment, they're spaces to connect, share, and continuously learn from one another.
We're growing fast in France, and with that growth come exciting legal challenges across commercial contracts, data protection, and compliance. You'll be part of a cross-border legal team (France & Germany), working closely with stakeholders across Product, Operations, HR, and Compliance to help shape the legal foundation of a scaling European company.
The Role:
As a Senior Legal Counsel France, you will:
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts (clients, suppliers, partners, distributors, leases, employment-related agreements).
Provide legal leadership on compliance initiatives: audits, client questionnaires, tender documents, and data protection (GDPR).
Shape and structure complex commercial offers (direct and via resellers), manage legal risk in contracting, and participate in technical and commercial negotiations.
Manage and protect intellectual property assets, including trademarks and patents in France and across Europe.
Advise and support HR on employment law matters, including internal regulations, conflict resolution, and litigation
You will work primarily in French (around 70%), while your cross-border collaboration (approx. 30%) will be conducted in English with colleagues and stakeholders across Europe.
You should therefore feel comfortable communicating complex legal concepts fluently in both French and English.
Your Profile:
You bring proven experience in commercial law, with a strong track record in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
Your knowledge of French legal frameworks is solid, and you have hands-on expertise in GDPR, intellectual property, and corporate compliance.
You feel confident acting as a senior legal advisor in a fast-moving, cross-functional, and international environment balancing legal accuracy with business pragmatism.
Communicating clearly comes naturally to you. You can explain complex legal topics in English to non-legal audiences with ease.
Colleagues describe you as empathetic, solution-oriented, and pragmatic, with a proactive mindset and a calm approach to challenges
If you don't meet every single requirement but are excited about the role and eager to grow, we'd still love to hear from you.
Our Offer:
Autonomy: We hire you for your expertise and give you the freedom to do your best work.
Impact: Play a key role in a post-merger phase and help build scalable, future-proof legal processes.
Meal vouchers: EUR9 per working day.
Employee Benefits Platform (Comite d'Entreprise): Access to discounts and exclusive offers.
Health insurance: Company-sponsored group plan.
Additional paid leave: +5 extra days per year on top of statutory leave.
Hybrid work: Up to 2 remote working days per week
Please submit your application and CV in English.
