Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) based in Vancouver, BC. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end components of the platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and write clean and scalable code.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Computer Science fundamentals
Extensive experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
