Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that power our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of backend technologies, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in backend development with a strong portfolio of projects.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Range: $45 - $50 CAD
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
