They’re now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of Windows-based systems and lead the charge on automation, reliability, and scalability initiatives.

What You’ll Do
Drive end-to-end delivery of Windows infrastructure projects — from technical design and architecture through to implementation, testing, and operational rollout.
Own and evolve core Windows Server services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print systems, ensuring stability and performance across the estate.
Design and deliver scalable, secure infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments — leveraging on-prem virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, VDI) and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Champion automation and Infrastructure as Code, building self-service, repeatable solutions that eliminate manual effort and accelerate delivery.
Proactively enhance system reliability, performance, and security through continuous improvement and smart engineering decisions.
Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to shape a modern, resilient platform that supports global growth.
What You’ll Need
Deep technical expertise in Windows Server administration and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
Proven experience leading complex upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal downtime.
Strong command of virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, VDI) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Skilled with Puppet, Ansible & Terraform.
Solid grasp of enterprise security, compliance, and governance best practices.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills, as you thrive on diagnosing complex, multi-site issues and finding elegant solutions.
A clear communicator and documenter demonstrating the ability to translate technical detail into actionable plans.
A collaborative mindset that allows you to build strong relationships with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver results.
Automation-first approach, whether with PowerShell or your tool of choice, you script, optimise, and streamline wherever possible.
