Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Up to £50,000+ & benefits (flexible for the right person)

We’re hiring two Cloud Hosting Engineers to join an established hosting and software provider in Manchester. This is a hands-on role in a VMware-based private cloud environment, supporting multi-tenant customer platforms with some AWS integration.

You’ll work across the full infrastructure stack - VMware, Veeam, Windows/Linux, storage, networking, and security. Perfect for someone who enjoys being a jack-of-all-trades in a collaborative team.

What you’ll do

Manage and support VMware private cloud platforms across datacentres
Administer Windows Server & Linux systems
Run Veeam backups, restores & DR tests
Troubleshoot customer issues within SLAs
Deliver infrastructure upgrades (VMware, storage, firewalls, networking)
Ensure security & compliance across hosted environments

What we’re looking for

Strong VMware vSphere/ESXi experience (hosting/MSP/ISP background ideal)
Good knowledge of Windows Server & Linux
Hands-on with Veeam Backup & Replication
Broad skills across networking & firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, VLANs, VPNs)
Passion for tech and willingness to get stuck into all areas
