Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced UI Developer specializing in Angular to join the engineering team supporting digital modernization initiatives at Fannie Mae. The developer will build responsive, high-performance front-end components, collaborate with backend and UX teams, and implement best practices in state management using NgRx and RxJS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Angular (v13–v16) applications.
Implement state management with NgRx and RxJS for scalable, maintainable UI architecture.
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and API developers.
Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards.
Debug, test, and optimize performance across browsers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain clean, reusable, testable code.

Required Skills

10+ years of professional UI development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Angular 13+, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
Proven experience with NgRx, RxJS, and reactive programming.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data flow.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in financial services or the Mortgage domain.
Knowledge of AWS DevOps, Jest/Karma testing frameworks.
Familiarity with backend integration (Java/.NET APIs) and UI accessibility best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
