Our client, a major media and entertainment company, is looking for a Brand Manager to join their team in New York City, NY! This is a 6-month initial contract and is onsite so local candidates are required.
The Manager of Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement will help to oversee multi-platform marketing strategies and campaigns for Late Night, Live Events, Specials, Scripted & Unscripted shows across, all with the goal of driving brand awareness, equity, engagement, and consumption. This role requires a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can effectively understand the business goals of various partners, translating them into cohesive and successful marketing campaigns. The ability to pivot between long-term planning and short-term tactical execution is a must, coupled with being extremely resourceful, proactive, creative, analytical, and passionate about television and entertainment.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Must be willing to work in New York, NY
Minimum of 4 years marketing experience (preferably in the entertainment/media industry) – includes experience in strategy development, campaign execution/management, social/digital platform fundamentals, and analytics
Willingness to work overtime, atypical hours and on some weekends with short notice

Passion for television, entertainment, and consumer marketing - this role requires a connection and/or understanding of cultural trends and consumer mindsets

Background working with 3rd Party agencies/partners
What You Will Be Doing
Act as the brand leader, driving marketing efforts for the late night, live events, specials, scripted, and unscripted shows, including implementing strategy, managing campaigns and related tactics, and reporting on results – all with the goal of building brand equity, driving consumer engagement and increasing monetization
Be an authority and central hub for information of each show, understanding the day-to-day production needs, show creative, marketing support, and IP as it relates to the consumer, especially in context to culture
Collaborate and ideate with key teams (media, social, sales, programming, publicity, production, creative, agencies) to create innovative, impactful multiplatform campaigns
Effectively communicate and present marketing plans and timelines across the organization
Provide solutions, recommend alternative strategies, and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner in an environment that is fast-paced and changes frequently
Work closely with the Strategy and Consumer Insights teams to develop audience targets, report on campaigns, refine process, and provide actionable insights
Act as point of contact with external agencies and partners, leading communication while building relationships, providing strategic/creative feedback and managing approvals
