BI Intelligence Analyst

Hybrid 3 days/week in NYC

3+ month long contract

Summary:

Seeking a proactive and technically skilled BI Data Analyst to support revenue strategy and sales initiatives through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume data environments and is passionate about streamlining workflows and delivering impactful business intelligence.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting tools
Optimize and clean data within the existing data lake infrastructure
Validate and transform large datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market and observatory data
Rebuild legacy reports and create new analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Translate raw data into actionable insights across revenue, admissions, occupancy, and capacity metrics

Qualifications

Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and advanced Excel
Experience working with large datasets (millions of rows)
Strong understanding of data validation, technical optimization, and trend analysis
Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem (no Tableau required)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic, resilient, and initiative-driven approach
Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting streams
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in revenue analytics or sales data preferred

Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 55/hr to 62/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
