About Your Role

At Clover, part of Fiserv, you will join an entrepreneurial team that is rapidly transforming the FinTech and payments industry. As a Web Developer, you will enhance and secure the leading Point of Sale system, which includes custom hardware, cloud-based software, and platform APIs. Your passion for security and technology will directly impact the millions of transactions processed daily for merchants ranging from small shops to large stadiums.

What You’ll Do

Design and maintain cloud-hosted web-based applications using HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other programming tools.
Build merchant-facing web applications and features from development through deployment and production monitoring.
Work in a cross-functional team with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and Operations to translate product and design requirements into functional, maintainable software.
Identify technical requirements in product meetings and assist with realistic project planning and feature development.
Develop automated tests for web features, perform dev testing, and ensure a consistent user experience across all supported web browsers.
Review peer code, provide mentorship, and conduct research to develop advanced features using the latest technological stack.
Implement best practices related to web security, collaborate with Security engineers on application scans, fix issues, and educate team members.
Follow Agile SDLC, participate in planning and sprint boards, and take part in regular on-call and bug triage rotation.

Experience You’ll Need To Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
3 years of web development experience using JavaScript (Typescript/React).
3 years of experience with modern web UI technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
3 years of experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Ember, Angular.
Practical experience with Software Development Lifecycles such as Scrum.

Experience That Would Be Great To Have

Frontend JavaScript experience and understanding of web services, payments/point-of-sale/reporting platforms, and high-volume transactional systems.
Experience with the Cypress framework for automation testing.
Experience writing JS tests using tools such as MochaJS and Selenium.
Experience with package management systems such as Yarn, NPM, Bower.
Previous experience with CSS precompilers such as Sass or Less.

How You’ll Work

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range

$82,000.00 - $141,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
