Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Integrator with advanced proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SQL Server, and Python to design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines supporting financial and analytical data environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless data movement, transformation, and integration across multiple systems, while maintaining high performance, scalability, and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS and SQL Server to support enterprise data integration needs.
Build and optimize data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading large datasets from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.).
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Implement Python scripts for advanced data transformation, automation, and quality checks.
Ensure data integrity, lineage, and auditability across financial systems and reporting environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune SSIS packages and SQL procedures for optimal performance.
Work with Git-based version control systems and participate in CI/CD workflows for automated deployment.
Produce technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process flow diagrams.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in data integration and ETL development.
Strong command of SQL Server, SSIS, and T-SQL programming.
Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
Proven experience in finance or investment banking environments, handling sensitive and high-volume transactional data.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data deployment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid understanding of financial data structures, reporting standards, and data governance principles.
Experience with cloud data ecosystems such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar platforms.
Exposure to data lake and data warehouse architectures.
Knowledge of financial instruments, trading systems, or portfolio management tools.
Experience integrating structured and unstructured data sources to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
