Our healthcare client is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to work a 6-month assignment in Livermore, CA. Candidates must be able to work onsite 5 days/week (40 hours/week) in Livermore, CA. Hybrid and remote work is not an option for this role. Please also note that travel may be required 25-30% of the time.
We're seeking a strategic product marketer with experience in healthcare software, hospital decision-making, and IT collaboration. This role supports go-to-market execution, commercial strategy, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy
Define customer journey and messaging for physicians, administrators, and patients
Create promotional campaigns and sales materials tailored to target audiences
Collaborate with KOLs, Medical Affairs, and Public Affairs to drive product adoption and thought leadership
Commercial Support
Develop lead generation strategies and ensure follow-up
Monitor market performance and adjust tactics
Support sales teams with product expertise, demos, and conference activities
Business Development
Track healthcare tech trends and advocate for strategic innovations
Identify customer needs and influence product development
Analyze market trends and stakeholder behavior to uncover new opportunities
Lead cross-functional teams to drive adoption and transformation
Qualifications
Bachelor's in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field
5+ years in marketing, preferably in medical devices or healthcare software
Proven success in strategic marketing and business development
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Experience with KOL programs and market research
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
SaaS or healthcare data interoperability experience
Strong project management and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Quick technical learning and customer empathy
Willingness to travel 25-30%
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
