Junior Full Stack Developer – Early Stage AI Startup

Location: UK-based, fully remote

Compensation: £40k + equity

About Us

We’re an early-stage startup building an AI Gig Hunting Agent for the 100M+ freelancers in developed markets. We’ve recently raised our pre-seed round and are now expanding our engineering team with our first Junior Full Stack Developer hire.

You’ll work closely with the CTO and product team to turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into a fast, reliable product that helps freelancers find better work opportunities, faster.

The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with 1–2 years of commercial experience, who’s comfortable working across the stack in C# and React, and who’s excited by the potential of prompt engineering and AI integration.

You’ll be responsible for building, integrating, and optimising systems that bring structured intelligence from unstructured data into our product. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and suited to someone who loves solving practical problems in a startup environment.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain scalable, high-quality features in C# (backend) and React (frontend).

- Develop and integrate prompt-based AI systems into production workflows.

- Transform unstructured text into structured, usable formats (e.g. JSON, tables).

- Experiment with prompt engineering and model fine-tuning to improve data accuracy and user experience.

- Contribute to end-to-end product delivery — from ideation through to deployment.

What We’re Looking For

- UK-based, with the right to work in the UK.

- 1–2 years of commercial experience as a software developer.

- Strong backend development skills in C# / .NET.

- Experience with React and modern frontend workflows.

- Interest or experience in prompt engineering and working with LLMs.

- Understanding of transforming text into structured data formats.

- Practical mindset: you like shipping, testing, and iterating quickly.

- Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment is a bonus.
