The Role: Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You’ll partner directly with clients and delivery teams to translate complex goals into actionable requirements, designs, and test plans. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys uncovering insights, improving processes, and ensuring that every solution we deliver creates measurable client impact.

What You’ll Do

Leadership Through Coordination & Communication

Lead cross-functional collaboration between business users, developers, QA, and external vendors to ensure alignment across all workstreams.
Act as an extension of the Project Manager to coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and maintain forward momentum.
Schedule, lead, and document meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and actionable next steps.
Maintain strong communication channels and ensure timely, accurate information flow across all stakeholders.

Requirements and Documentation

Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Define and document current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate negotiation and sign-off of data formats, interface specifications, or file exchange requirements between client and vendor teams.
Maintain all documentation with high quality, clarity, and traceability from requirements through to testing.

Support Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate solution functionality.
Support or execute testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect tracking, and test result reporting.
Log and follow up on defects with clear communication of impact and resolution status.
Ensure timely UAT completion and stakeholder sign-off according to project milestones.

Project Support and Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify and escalate project risks, issues, or blockers to project leadership.
Provide consultative input on business and system design decisions, drawing from prior project experience.
Contribute to process and delivery improvements across business analysis and QA practices.

What You Bring

Must-Have Experience

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, ideally in consulting, financial services, or technology environments.
Strong ability to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements suitable for technical teams.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills across business, vendor, and engineering stakeholders.
Experience leading QA activities: test case design, execution, UAT coordination, and defect management.
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira & Confluence
Solid understanding of systems integration, data flows, and how technology supports business processes.
Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple workstreams, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.

Bonus Points For

Experience with financial systems, payments, or data-driven platforms.
Exposure to cloud-based ecosystems (AWS, Azure) or modern API integration.
Experience contributing to solution design, delivery planning, or roadmap development.
Experience designing or supporting solutions that incorporate machine learning, AI, or agentic capabilities — and the ability to translate these technologies into meaningful business outcomes.
