Espanaro is expanding its delivery capability within a high-profile Ministry of Defence digital transformation programme. We are seeking skilled professionals to help shape the next generation of secure, sovereign technology solutions across Defence.
These positions sit within a multi-year initiative transforming how Defence delivers digital capability - blending cloud engineering, user-centred design, agile delivery, and secure collaboration platforms to enable better decision-making and safer, faster operations.
Scrum Master
As Scrum Master, you’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams working in high-assurance environments, driving agile delivery and coordination across complex programmes.
Responsibilities
Lead sprint ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
Act as the focal point between engineering, design, and stakeholder groups.
Promote continuous improvement and agile maturity.
Identify and resolve delivery blockers swiftly.
Communicate delivery progress clearly to senior stakeholders.
Experience Required
Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead on large-scale technology or Defence programmes.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and cross-functional delivery.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Active SC clearance (DV advantageous).
You’ll be central to ensuring the rhythm, quality, and transparency of delivery in a mission-critical environment.
Collaboration Tooling Engineer (Jira / Confluence / Atlassian Suite)
You’ll maintain and secure the collaboration platforms underpinning planning and delivery across multiple secure domains. This role blends hands-on technical administration with operational governance.
Responsibilities
Configure and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, plug-ins).
Implement secure configurations in line with accreditation standards.
Perform system maintenance, patching, and risk assessments.
Manage integrations with delivery pipelines and supporting systems.
Provide user support and promote best practices across teams.
Experience Required
Proven experience administering Atlassian environments in secure or complex settings.
Knowledge of accredited or air-gapped systems and security hardening practices.
Understanding of agile delivery methods and toolchain integration.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Active SC clearance required.
