Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing tech company, urgently require an experienced Finance Assistant to undertake a 12 month contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

CIMA, ACCA or AAT Qualification or Part Qualification
Strong background within financial operations, accounting and finance management
Experience gained within a scaling or fast-moving business environment
Experience within the defence sector would prove highly beneficial
Must be able to obtain SC Clearance

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

Manage and prepare invoices for approval and dispatch, engaging with Deployment Leads and the Director of Operations as required
Track and chase outstanding invoices through to payment, maintaining healthy cashflow visibility and proactive follow-up
Review and process incoming invoices, ensuring timely payment and appropriate approvals from the Director of Operations or Senior Leadership Team
Act as the primary point of contact between the organisation and their bookkeepers, ensuring daily and weekly reconciliation and clear communication on all finance and expense matters
Support the company’s accountants in preparing monthly reports, providing accurate data and insights to meet reporting deadlines
Assist in monthly payroll processing, pensions, tax, and benefits, overseeing checks, approvals, and compliance requirements
Provide additional financial support as needed, helping to refine systems, streamline processes, and strengthen financial governance
