Job Specifications

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Derivatives Analyst to join a leading global financial services firm. This role supports derivatives onboarding for investment management and insurance portfolios, ensuring operational readiness across trading, legal, and middle-office functions.

Location: Boston, MA or Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite)

Duration: 1-year contract with strong potential for extension or conversion

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Execute onboarding processes for exchange-traded, OTC, and cleared derivatives
Coordinate with internal teams and external brokers to support trading readiness
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with audit and legal requirements
Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of relevant financial industry experience
Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with derivatives is an asset
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
