What You'll Do
The Braze SDKs Engineering Team builds customer engagement SDKs for the world's best known apps and sites. We provide rich APIs for integrating with our system as well as highly functional and flexible user interfaces. Our mission is to relentlessly optimize for performance, ease of integration, clean API design, and reliability.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to partner with our diverse, talented iOS team and help us grow together, make future oriented, opinionated architecture decisions and deliver the robust, easy to use SDK that our customers deserve.
Additionally, we expect the ideal candidate to be willing and able to go across system boundaries and contribute to our ever growing collection of multi-platform SDKs such as our React Native, Flutter and Unity SDKs.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
Demonstrable experience planning, building, delivering and maintaining high quality iOS software. You should expect to be asked to demonstrate a deep understanding of the ecosystem, including but not limited to topics such as concurrency, performance, remote debugging, build & delivery systems, dependency management, semantic versioning, etc.
Willingness to go beyond Swift, in at least one of the following:
TypeScript, in the context of React Native
Dart, in the context of Flutter
C#, in the context of Unity
Excellent verbal and written communication in English. This role will require that you interact with our partners, both internal and external, both technical and non technical. You will be expected to explain complex technical concepts to colleagues and customers that are not Android experts.
Demonstrable ability to uplevel your peers via coaching & mentoring

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $154,800 and $275,400/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $172,000 and $306,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
