Background

Nyra is forging a new path for climate action, from the ground up. We connect smallholder farmers

in Global South communities with people and institutional partners committed to addressing climate

change and biodiversity loss. Our approach empowers farmers at the frontline of climate change to

adopt climate- and nature-positive practices, paying them a fair wage for their invaluable

contributions to our shared environment. Nyra converts what these farmers produce into climate-

negative and creatively inspired products that partners receive in return for their support.

Through evidence-backed nature-based solutions, Nyra drives real impacts for biodiversity

restoration, carbon sequestration, and poverty alleviation. We are working towards a future where

climate action uplifts communities, restores the planet, and transforms markets into just and

inclusive ones. Together, these collective efforts will grow meaningful impact from the ground up,

reshaping landscapes, livelihoods, and the future of climate action.
