What we are building

QDEX is simplifying access to lending.

Our platform combines human expertise with AI to help advisers match customers to the right loans in seconds.

We are live in advanced beta and preparing for commercial scale.

What you will work on

• Build features end-to-end across Python, React and TypeScript

• Ship clean, tested, reliable code in a small senior team

• Improve architecture, performance and scalability

• Strengthen testing, CI and CD so we can ship safely and often

• Work closely with Product to turn real user problems into simple solutions

• Use the latest AI models and a full modern AI engineering stack

This is a hands-on role. Zero politics. Real ownership.

What we are looking for

• Ten years or more experience building production systems

• Strong full-stack capability across Python and React

• Solid SQL skills

• Serious testing habits

• Someone who cares about engineering quality and leads by example

• Curious, pragmatic, gets things done

• Comfortable in a small, fast, user-driven team

Nice to have: Redis, Celery, AWS or GCP, Docker or Kubernetes, SOC 2 familiarity, interest in Rust or Go.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide visa sponsorship.

As this role requires 3 days per week in our London Bridge office, candidates should be able to commute to London Bridge reliably.
