Job Description:

Vitalist Inc. is looking for a Global Head of Sales to lead our Reebok Smartwatch Sales team, working closely with our General Manager. Based in Vancouver, BC, this role is crucial in shaping our sales strategy and expanding our reach. You'll lead a team of sales professionals, craft strategies to meet ambitious targets, and build relationships with key stakeholders. 

Currently, the company has distribution in Canada, the USA, and LATAM, with contract retail account sales reps working through the first year launch of Reebok Smartwatches. The ambition is to be a major player in the sport-focused Wearables market. 

Location Requirement:

Please note that this position requires candidates to be based in the Vancouver area. Applicants who are not currently located in Vancouver and do not plan to relocate will not be considered for this role. What You'll Do:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Implement and manage sales teams across Canada, the US, and LATAM for the sale of Reebok Smartwatches
Win competitive retail listings with major retailers (We’re in Costco and others today, and need massive growth)
Create key account plans and execute against them. 

Team Leadership & Development:

Guide and support Independent sales reps to achieve their targets and drive success.
Collaborate with the Sales team to facilitate ongoing training and skill enhancement.
Offer strategic guidance and feedback to Sales Reps to optimize their performance and growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between Outside Sales and internal departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Partner with Marketing, Product development, Operations, and Customer Service to prioritize customer satisfaction in decision-making.
Represent Outside Sales in strategic meetings and cross-departmental initiatives.

Account Management:

Maintain relationships with key retail partners.
Identify and support “at-risk” accounts to address challenges and sustain business.
Run the CRM to ensure data accuracy and integrity, facilitating effective reporting and insights.
Drive efforts to acquire new retail accounts and expand into e-commerce opportunities.

What You Bring:

Experience: 5+ years in consumer product sales leadership.
Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
Market Insight: Deep understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape.
Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on motivating and mentoring teams.
Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professionalism: Professional, proactive, and positive demeanor.
Sales Success: Established track record of driving sales success.

Travel Requirement:

Sales Leadership Meetings.
On the road with Sales reps as needed.
Conferences and partner events.
