SAP S/4HANA ePPDS Planning Consultant (Aerospace & Defense):

Duration: 6 months + chance of extensions

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and expert-level SAP ePPDS Consultant to join a critical Information System (IS) redesign project focused on Planning within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
This is a hands-on, consultative role covering the full project lifecycle from design through to deployment, specifically focusing on the optimization of Master Production Scheduling (MPS) across four major industrial sites.
The successful candidate will be a key member of an 8-person delivery team, ensuring the new SAP S/4HANA-based planning solution meets the rigorous standards of a large-scale, 100% French operational model supporting approximately 300 users.

Key Responsibilities:

As the SAP S/4HANA ePPDS Consultant, your mission will cover the Build and Deploy phases of the planning project:

General Design: Lead the conception and documentation of the overall planning solution architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business requirements.
Detailed Design: Develop comprehensive functional specifications for the S/4HANA ePPDS setup and integration points.
SAP Configuration: Execute hands-on configuration, customization, and prototyping of the SAP S/4HANA ePPDS module, including master data setup (PPMs, resources, PDS, etc.).
Integration & Interface Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot the Core Interface (CIF) to ensure seamless and reliable data transfer between the ERP and ePPDS components.
Testing: Plan, execute, and support all phases of testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing) to validate the solution's functionality and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the core project team, business key users, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment across the four industrial sites.
