Job Specifications

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with the software engineers and Application Engineers in the field to provide a tool to help with the configuration and implementation of a network-on-a-chip.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Work with the team of application engineers to solve user problems
Collaborate with the hardware design team to implement constraints, security controls, and user input of their hardware blocks
Improve tool performance bottlenecks
Improve tool usability by automating or improving tedious or error-prone tasks

Requirements:

Engineering degree or Master of Science
Atleast 3-8 years of experience as a software developer
Prior experience delivering a software product to external customers that runs locally on users' machines
Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, preferably Python
Prior experience using UNIX for development
Prior experience in hardware, IT architecture, networks, and the basic paradigms of the hardware design process is an asset
Prior experience using data structure and graph-based algorithms (NoCs as a graph)
Prior experience using software development skills
Understanding of industry-standard development flows (Jira, Git, etc.)
Good communication skills in French and English
Prior experience in the electronics field is not required, but is a plus
