Business Development Manager

Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote)

Salary: £75,000 base + £75,000 OTE (uncapped)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proven enterprise seller to join as one of our first go-to-market hires. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close, working directly with our founding team. This is a rare chance to build a category, shape the playbook, and help us scale a company at the forefront of AI-driven compliance.

What You’ll Do

Identify, engage, and close strategic enterprise accounts across banking, legal, gaming, and investigations.
Lead consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (typically £50k–£250k ACV).
Build strong C-level relationships (Compliance, Risk, Legal, MLROs, GCs).
Represent organisation at industry events and forums.
Collaborate closely with founders, product, and marketing to shape GTM strategy.
Contribute to sales processes, pricing, and market intelligence as a foundational team member.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ B2B SaaS enterprise sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
Experience selling into financial services, law firms, or regulated industries.
Skilled in long-cycle, consultative sales and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
Strategic thinker, exceptional communicator, and genuine trusted advisor.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
Bonus: Knowledge of AML/KYC, RegTech, or AI; prior experience in early-stage scaleups.
