Job Specifications

OneSparQ is looking for a Purview Software Engineer or a global data analytics company based out of Atlanta, GA. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience with Microsoft Purview software engineering
5+ years of recent experience with Azure and Azure related applications
Experience with other data governance, data cataloging, and cybersecurity applications
Degree in an IT or related filed

Additional Skills: (not required)

Experience migrating Background working in Big Data and Data Science environments
Experience with AI Agents for data discovery and threat detection
Azure and Java Certifications

Responsibilities:

Implement and configure Microsoft Purview for enterprise-wide data protection, data cataloging, and information governance.
Conduct diagnostic assessments to analyze data flows and identify potential threats or vulnerabilities within the system.
Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of data breaches and security events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain secure network architecture, manage resource groups, and provision infrastructure in Azure.
Optimize cost metrics, log analytics, and Azure alerts to ensure scalable and efficient cloud operations.
Utilize automation tools and performance optimization techniques to enhance security and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations by applying best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
