Our client is looking to fill the role of Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

Account Management: Lead and cultivate partnerships with key accounts and will be responsible for financial trends, forecasting, and contract management. Generate and disseminate all sales and cross-functional reports. This role is responsible for predicting current and future retails and shipments connecting promotional strategies, replenishment flows, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize stock levels that in turn drive profitable sales.
Consumer Experience: Drive on-site consumer engagement by managing sample plans, new product launches, Product Detail Page updates, and the execution of quarterly brand animations to enhance the online customer journey.
Financial Scope:
Annual Budget Responsibility
Annual Revenue Responsibility
Monthly and annual net forecasting responsibility
Determine the right stock level needed to achieve retailer plans and maximize growth opportunities
Monitor and resolve low or out-of-stock conditions
Forecast flow of basic replenishment and vet orders to remove processing barriers
Plan and analyze promotional levels and sell-through
Forecast shipments for management speaking to week over week changes, opportunities, and risks.
Create account budget and trend plans on quarterly basis inclusive of channel plans
Partner with internal teams to ensure plans are supported
Support Customer Service to ensure timely order processing
Align with Demand Planning on item level forecasting
Secure necessary promo, launch, and constrained item allocations with Sales Administration

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3+ years in wholesale sell-in or retail planning
Knowledge and awareness of beauty industry, market, and competitive trends
Self-motivated, results-oriented, analytical, creative thinker
Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to establish working relationships with internal and external partners
Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task necessary
