About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote, full-time development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality APIs and backend services that form the backbone of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to create scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the organization. Your expertise will help shape the future of our platform and ensure that we continue to deliver innovative and robust solutions to our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over six years of experience in backend or full-stack software development, demonstrating a strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Bash scripting. A deep understanding of API technologies such as REST, GraphQL, and XML-RPC is essential, along with experience connecting UI frameworks to backend systems. Candidates should have a solid grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies, enabling efficient and collaborative project execution. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, and a passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends is highly valued.
