DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automated delivery pipelines across AWS, with complementary expertise in GCP, Azure, and Digital Ocean. Drive continuous integration and deployment, monitoring, and incident response to accelerate release cycles, enhance system stability, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and SOX.
**Expected Qualifications**
- 3+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in cloud‑native environments.
- Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Hands‑on Terraform for multi‑cloud provisioning (state, modules, workspaces).
- Git/GitHub source control, branching, and pull‑request workflow.
- CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, including testing, static analysis, and security scanning.
- Monitoring & logging (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK).
- Cloud networking, IAM, security groups, network ACLs, VPNs.
- Ansible automation, Linux Ubuntu, Python/Bash scripting.
- Database awareness (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Understanding of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOX).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, provision, and manage cost‑effective AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules for automated cloud resource lifecycle (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, integrating automated testing, security scanning, and deployment.
- Configure and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK) with custom dashboards.
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to handle critical incidents and maintain high availability.
- Automate operational tasks, system configuration, and deployments using Python and Bash scripts.
- Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and data protection.
