We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Administrator for our Commercial Solar division. This role plays a pivotal part in our construction team, offering support in the planning, organizing, and execution of solar projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, from detailed planning to proactive oversight and from scheduling to documentation. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for renewable energy and a background in construction, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Coordinate commercial solar construction projects from initiation to completion.
Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring all aspects are in line with project specifications.
Develop comprehensive project schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow.
Prepare, maintain, and update project documents, including contracts, permits, and reports.
Use MS Office Suite to create and manage spreadsheets, develop presentations, and maintain project databases.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Assist in the procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.
Coordinate and attend project meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
Provide administrative support to the project manager as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project administration role within the construction industry.
Proven experience in solar projects is highly desirable.
Proficient understanding of construction drawings and blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project schedules.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
