Project Management Consultant - Level 2 (Solar Pre-Construction)

Location: Juno Beach, FL (100% onsite)

Schedule: Standard office hours

Contract Length: 12 months

Pay Range: $41-$46/hour

Role Overview

This role supports early-stage solar engineering and construction projects within a pre-construction environment. Working under limited direction from a Regional Lead Project Manager, the consultant will provide system, business, and project support across technical, commercial, construction, and financial dimensions.

This is a progressive opportunity suited for business-minded professionals with technical aptitude-or technically focused professionals with strong financial awareness-seeking growth along a project management career path.

Key Responsibilities

Own assigned solar projects through the early-stage/pre-construction phase in preparation for handoff to construction teams
Manage all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring technical feasibility, schedule alignment, commercial support, and financial viability
Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and key project variables
Support development, ownership, and active management of capital budgets for assigned projects
Coordinate with internal subject matter experts across engineering, permitting, and development functions
Support engineering coordination, issue resolution, and optimization efforts
Assist with development of construction plans and schedules
Support commercial contract negotiations and execution activities
Manage project data, documentation, and deliverables across multiple software systems
Communicate project status and key updates to senior leadership with guidance from the Regional Lead
Perform additional project and organizational support tasks as required to maintain team readiness and project viability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

Strong financial modeling, budgeting, or data analysis experience
Mechanical awareness or interest in technical project variables
Prior exposure to construction, energy, or solar projects
Clear interest in long-term growth within project management
