DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

£400 - £480 PER DAY INSIDE IR35

3 DAYS PER WEEK (OXFORD)

12 MONTH CONTRACT

THE COMPANY:

Join a fast-paced organisation who are currently expanding their Data Protection function.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Protection Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing and prioritising your own workflow across multiple assessments.
Conducting data flow reviews and completing privacy assessments (DPIAs/PIAs).
Performing supplier due diligence and reviewing privacy documentation.
Contacting stakeholders who own supplier relationships to gather required information.
Liaising directly with suppliers to clarify data protection queries.
Supporting ongoing improvements to processes and documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Data Protection Officer will have:

Experience in data protection, privacy, or a related area.
Understanding of GDPR and the data lifecycle.
Strong proficiency across Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
Experience handling supplier due diligence or privacy-related assessments.
Familiarity with DPIAs/PIAs and data mapping.
Exposure to vendor risk management processes.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders and suppliers.
Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently.
