Role Description
This is a part-time, remote Chief of Marketing Internship where you will work directly with the founder to develop and execute marketing strategies from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in shaping the brand voice, designing organic social media campaigns, and helping define how we acquire users without relying on paid advertising.
This internship has options to go from December 1- February 1 or February 1 - May 1
You will
Develop and execute organic marketing strategies across social platforms
Analyze performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions, waitlist growth)
Brainstorm and create short-form video content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts)
Potentially record on-camera content for TikTok/Reels
Edit and produce engaging short videos using trending audio and formats
Create scroll-stopping reels showcasing product features and updates
Drive targeted traffic through Reddit communities and Discord groups
Research niche online communities and identify growth opportunities
Coordinate social media posting schedules and content calendars
Write captions, hooks, CTAs, and micro-copy that increase user sign-ups
Monitor competitor trends and emerging social media patterns
Experiment with viral strategies to boost visibility and following
Generate traffic and conversions that bring users to our site
Collaborate directly with the founder on brand voice and marketing direction
Unpaid-internship with equity opportunities depending on performance.
Qualifications
Looking for high schoolers- recent college graduates.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) and current trends
Ability to create engaging content that drives traffic, conversions, and audience growth
Experience with basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
Strong writing and communication skills for captions, posts, and micro-copy
Ability to brainstorm and execute growth campaigns that increase waitlist sign-ups
Basic familiarity with branding, user acquisition strategies, and community engagement
Creative mindset with the ability to turn product features into compelling marketing narratives
Self-starter mentality — able to work independently and test new ideas quickly
Passion for startups, social media culture, and growth marketing
Optional: basic Canva, CapCut, or design/video editing experience
