Our client, a leading firm in the investment and private equity sector, is seeking a Cybersecurity Auditor to join its IT team in Chicago. You’ll play a critical role in safeguarding systems through proactive auditing, monitoring, and threat detection. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT auditing, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset.

About the Job:

As a Cybersecurity Auditor, you’ll work with cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Azure, Intune, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Sentinel.

Audit and scan cloud and endpoint environments
Monitor digital traffic for anomalies and data leaks
Respond to security incidents and breaches
Ensure compliance with standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
Generate reports and maintain documentation
Optimize cybersecurity tools and stay ahead of emerging threats
Collaborate across departments and lead cybersecurity training

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 4+ years in cybersecurity or IT auditing, with hands-on threat detection and incident response
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Intune, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM systems, and vulnerability scanning
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, strong communicator, and calm under pressure
Education: Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience); certifications like Security+, CISSP, or CISA are a plus

Location: On-site 5 days – downtown Chicago

Compensation: 115,000k - 150000k
