Security Operations Specialist (7692)

10-month contract- Dec 1 to Oct 19

Onsite at - 7 Easton Oval Columbus Ohio 43219

Must Haves:

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or similar field.

• 2+ years of experience operating/configuring/managing security systems such as intrusion, video, or access control

• Financial Institution Security experience

• 1+ years of experience managing a ticketing queue

• 1+ years of working with Security integrators

• Ability to obtain a certification with a Technical Security Application

Reports directly to the Technical Security Manager, or the Technical Security Expert

Work ticket queues, maintains service levels, and verifies quality of service for the Technical Security team. Monitor system health and report any issues that may need maintenance or integrator troubleshooting. Works closely with Technical Security Specialists to ensure ideal system operation and automations continue as designed. Assists with assignments/projects assigned to the technical Security Associates. Works with branch colleagues and integrators to complete the required controls on testing and equipment service. Works with Risk and Audit partners to test the controls around technical security procedures. Handles basic integrator service needs and testing. Corresponds with branch and back-office colleagues for problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Application Operator – works directly with technical security owned applications to fulfill security needs of the Huntington Retail and back-office teams.

• BAU Projects - Expected to work business as usual projects, projects that have a defined procedure, equipment standard, and are repeated on a regular cadence. Management of k-forms and invoicing.

• Working a ticketing queue - making sure they are completed appropriately and accurately; examples include IT Service Portal or Facilities Work Order System (Archibus).

• Procedures – Ensure that daily processes are in line with the technical security procedures.

• Integrators – Building working relationships with integrators to install and service the standard equipment and support the equipment associated to the Technical Security applications. SLA compliance with Security Integrators, and issue resolution.

• System Programming – This position will be expected to handle basic system programming defined by procedures from the Technical Security Expert and Specialist Senior. This includes regular updates and basic troubleshooting.
