Job Specifications

As a C++ Software Engineer, you develop, engineer and test software for complex, technical applications in different high-tech domains.

In this role, you contribute to solutions for clients in telecom, industrial automation, video/audio processing, and IoT. You will be involved in all phases of the development process – from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and documentation. Thanks to long-term projects, you will have the opportunity to dive deep and work with cutting-edge technology.

What excites you as a C++ Software Engineer?

Based from one of our offices in Belgium and in average 3 days per week at our clients' office you like to keep yourself busy with:

Designing, developing, and testing complex C++ software in Linux and RTOS environments.
Creating real-time applications and multi-threaded systems.
Integrating software with hardware, networks, and subsystems.
Working with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, MQTT, VoIP, and XMPP.
Implementing video and streaming standards (DVB-S/T/C, MPEG-2/4, H.264, Dolby Atmos).
Optimizing algorithms and soft real-time performance.

Sounds good so far? We'd love to tell you more…

This is what you bring to the table

Bachelor or Master degree in software engineering, electronics, or a related field.
Experience with modern C++ (C++11 to C++20), STL, Boost, and Python.
Experience with Linux and/or real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks).
Familiarity with build systems, version control, and CI/CD tools (CMake, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity).
Analytical and self-directed, but also a strong team player.
Quality-minded with solid testing skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English.

Work experience in telecom, audio/video streaming, Agile/Scrum, Yocto, virtualization, IoT, or cloud computing (Docker) is a pre.

This is what you can expect in return

An indefinite contract with a stable employer in full growth.
A competitive salary complemented with additional benefits (company car with fuel card, group insurance, hospitalization insurance, expense allowance, meal vouchers).
Personal coaching and a generous training budget of €6,000 per year, enabling you to continuously develop yourself.
Flexible and hybrid working.
We value a healthy work-life balance.
You will receive 20 vacation days + 12 additional compensation days (ADV). Work alongside the best in their field, who share your passion for technology.
A warm and collegial culture where knowledge sharing and enjoyment are central. From family events and unique activities with colleagues, to innovative knowledge sessions and delightful lunches.
