Age UK is offering a unique opportunity for a motivated and strategic individual to support our work aligning with the NHS 10 Year Plan. This role will foster strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups including Age UK, the Network, other charities and thinktanks, playing a key part in articulating, showcasing and effectively marketing, the valuable contribution the Age UK Network makes to health and care services across the country.
The role will ensure the Age UK Network's ability to have impact for older people, while meeting the demands and needs of the NHS, is effectively communicated, and that the service offer is effectively marketed, cultivating opportunities within the NHS and Health commissioning landscape. Gaining a clear insight into commissioners priorities and building strategic marketing and communications plans with senior stakeholders across the Age UK Network, this role will increase the presence of Age UK in the NHS commissioning landscape.
This 12 month fixed term contract is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of homebased and office working. Our linked office for this role is in London (near Tower Hill) and you would be expected to attend the office at least once a week. Travel costs to the London office are not covered by the charity.

Experience
Proven experience of designing, establishing and delivering successful strategic marketing plans for health and social care services in the public, private or third sector. A, I
Proven experience of building strong relationships with health and care stakeholders, both nationally and locally, leading to increased interest in services provided. A, I
Experience of leading complex conversations and negotiating complex and multi-faceted relationships, while ensuring outcomes for organisations can be achieved at the same time A, I
Experience of supporting small to medium size charities to build relationships with health and care stakeholders, providing capacity building support to empower organisations to increase their profile. A
Experience of working in a fast paced, complex environment, working collaboratively with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and project managing cross divisional input. A, I
