Reports to: Founder & New Business Lead
Contract: Fairlight are offering an initial 12-month contract, starting on 3 days per week (25.5hrs) with possibility of increasing to FT by Q2 2026.
Salary Range: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE, pro rata
We are flexible on how these part-time hours are scheduled and open to discussions, including the possibility of spreading hours across five days to suit individual needs (e.g., school hours).

Overview
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to help shape and develop creative concepts while managing projects end-to-end. This role bridges strategy, creativity, performance analysis & insight, and client management - translating briefs into actionable creative frameworks and visually engaging strategy documents, while maintaining clear and confident communication with clients at every stage.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, project management skills, an understanding of the creative/production process, and client relationship, bringing ideas to life through well-crafted, visually clear documents and moodboards, and guiding clients confidently through the creative process.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Strategic:
Take and interpret client briefs from the Founder & New Business Lead, ensuring full understanding of objectives, target audiences, and project scope.
Develop and shape creative concepts, moodboards, and strategy documents (in Figma), proactively defining strategic approaches that clearly communicate vision and direction.
Produce internal and external strategy briefs for smooth handovers to production and creative teams.
Ensure all project strategies are clear, actionable, and aligned with client goals and brand direction.
Project Management:
Take ownership of client communications, ensuring clients are informed and engaged throughout the project.
Lead the overall project strategy, translating client briefs into clear objectives and actionable guidance.
Provide the Creative Director and internal teams with all necessary information, direction, and context to execute the project effectively.
Support the Founder & New Business Lead with updates and strategic insights, keeping clients aligned with vision and goals.
Client-Facing:
Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their vision is understood and realised.
Present strategic documents, concepts, and progress updates in a clear, professional manner to both internal teams and clients.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure creative outputs are strategically grounded and creatively elevated.
Stay informed on industry trends, audience insights, and platform best practices to inform creative strategy and project execution.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in creative strategy, project management, or brand strategy within a production, content, or agency environment.
Strong understanding of brand storytelling, audience engagement, and content strategy.
Excellent visual communication and graphic design skills (Figma or similar tools) for decks, moodboards, and strategy documents.
Strong presentation, communication, and client management skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with creative execution and project delivery.
