Lead Business Analysts – Guidewire PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter

Location: Central London - 1-2 days per week onsite

Contract Length: 6 months initially

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: TBC - likely £400–£450 per day (Inside IR35)

About the Roles

Our client, a global consultancy, is seeking two experienced Lead Business Analysts to join a Global Guidewire Practice and lead key functional workstreams across Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter implementations for Tier 1 insurers.

As part of the Global Guidewire Team, you’ll work on industry-leading transformation programmes, driving adoption of Guidewire best practices and helping insurers deliver digital excellence across the Policy and Claims lifecycle.

These are high-impact leadership roles within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working closely with business stakeholders to define, design, and deliver next-generation insurance solutions leveraging JDP, APD, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and CDA.

Role 1: Lead Business Analyst – Guidewire PolicyCenter

Lead the PolicyCenter Functional Workstream, defining target business requirements, process flows, and user interface changes.
Analyse as-is processes and KPIs to design target operating models and performance indicators.
Identify and agree Guidewire configuration (OOTB) areas and lead APD-driven product definition workshops.
Support change management and business case preparation.
Collaborate with customer business teams to ensure transformation goals are achieved.

Essential Skills

8+ years of Guidewire experience.
ACE Certified PolicyCenter Business Analyst.
Proven experience leading requirements streams in PolicyCenter implementations.
Strong hands-on APD (Advanced Product Designer) experience.

Desirable

Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management experience.

Role 2: Lead Business Analyst – Guidewire ClaimCenter

Lead the ClaimCenter Business Analyst Group, supporting major implementation programmes for Tier 1 insurers.
Define target business requirements, process flows, business rules, and UI changes across functional areas.
Partner with Business SMEs to drive closer OOTB implementation.
Deliver strong ClaimCenter functional design for Commercial and Fleet lines.
Define target operating models and KPIs to support transformation goals.
Contribute to change management and mentor analysts documenting Guidewire story cards.

Essential Skills

8+ years of Guidewire experience.
ACE Certified Business Analyst.
Deep experience with ClaimCenter (new implementations and upgrades).
Proven leadership in requirements management for ClaimCenter programmes.

Desirable

Experience mentoring BA teams and guiding functional story documentation.
Strong understanding of GWCP configurations and integrations.
