Optomi in partnership with a leading financial services organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Mobile Developer to join their team in building the next generation of award-winning digital banking and auto applications used by millions of customers. This hands-on engineering role involves developing innovative mobile solutions using React Native, TypeScript, and native mobile technologies such as Swift and Kotlin. The ideal candidate will be passionate about front-end technology, experienced in building dynamic, responsive mobile applications, and eager to lead and mentor others in an Agile environment.

Leading development of innovative features for digital banking and automotive mobile applications
Building high-quality, responsive front-end experiences using React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
Collaborating with UX, API, and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in a collaborative Agile environment
Mentoring and guiding junior developers on best practices and mobile architecture decisions
Participating in SCRUM ceremonies to influence mobile development direction and strategy
Experience of the Right Candidate:
5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile development
Proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with native mobile technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, or Jetpack Compose
Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns including functional programming, object-oriented design, and MVVM
Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Ionic
Experience developing responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device applications
Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket/GitLab and version control best practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior developers
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
Lead the design and development of new mobile features and components for digital banking and auto applications
Collaborate with design, API, and business teams to create intuitive and high-performing mobile user experiences
Implement responsive and accessible front-end code following modern standards and best practices
Review business requirements, design documents, and test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables
Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and quality
Mentor junior developers, sharing expertise in mobile architecture, performance optimization, and clean code practices
Ensure front-end code is scalable, testable, and maintainable, with a focus on long-term sustainability
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing technical direction and insight
Contribute to the team’s commitment to innovation, quality, and delivering outstanding customer experiences
