Job Description

The Oracle DatabaseAdministrator plays a key role in the management, optimisation and development of the Oracle database fleet of the FPS. He/she actively contributes to the performance, security, availability and automation of our database environment and participates in technological monitoring.

General And Responsibilities:

To manage, support and optimize Oracle databases (installation, configuration, update, backup, recovery, tuning, security) in accordance with ICT standards
Participate in defining and implementing automation solutions for managing databases using Ansible and scripts (Bash, Python, Shell, etc.)
Developing, maintaining scripts to automate repetitive tasks (provisioning, patching, monitoring)
Ensuring the availability, performance and safety of the production and test environments
Collaborate with the infrastructure, development, and security teams to implement DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
Participate in projects for the migration, modernization, and optimization of database architectures
Keeping up with technological advances in new Oracle versions and automation solutions
