Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
7+ years of experience in software solution development within an agile and DevOps environment, operating in a product-based model, and delivering large-scale applications or data engineering solutions
7+ years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or data analytics using common BI tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau), with demonstrated SQL mastery
7+ years of cloud development experience, preferably on Microsoft Azure, including hands-on experience with Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI
Strong combination of Development, Administration, and Support experience in multiple tools/platforms, including:
Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix, SQL
Data Platforms: Teradata, Couchbase, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake
Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions
CI/CD Tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform
BI Analytics Tools: Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:
3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably with Azure cloud services
Strong expertise with Azure Power Apps and Power BI
Previous experience in the airline industry is a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
Advanced proficiency in the Azure technology stack, specifically for data management, data ingestion, processing, and creating consumption layers
Demonstrated ability to provide practical guidance and leadership in the use of Azure native cloud services
Azure Development Track Certification (preferred)
Spark Certification (preferred)
