Role Description

This is a contract role for an Android Developer, with a hybrid work environment located in Charlotte, NC, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Specific tasks include programming, debugging, optimizing application performance, and ensuring seamless user experiences. Additional responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and refine app features, as well as ensuring compliance with coding standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Mobile Application Development, Mobile Applications, and Android Development
Strong knowledge of Android Design principles and practices
Experience in Software Development, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with collaborative teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Familiarity with Java or Kotlin is a plus
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous
