**Job Title:** Data Scientist & Data Analyst (Spanish Required)
**Role Summary:**
Analyze and interpret complex datasets, develop and refine AI/ML models—particularly large language models (LLMs)—and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. Perform data annotation, validation, and reporting while collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and communicate progress.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate, high‑quality data insights and model outputs.
- Continuously improve data processes, models, and visualizations.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and clear communication with cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, build, and fine‑tune LLMs (BERT, GPT, RoBERTa) and apply Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Mine conversational data to identify risk services, customer pain points, and competitor trends.
- Annotate customer service call transcripts according to strict guidelines.
- Validate model results, spot trends, and recommend model or data improvements.
- Prepare performance reports, metrics dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
- Support data preparation, cleaning, and preprocessing for analytics and ML pipelines.
- Stay current on AI/ML advancements and assess applicability to business needs.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to prioritize features and enhancements.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data‑engineering tools.
- Experience with machine‑learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Strong background in NLP, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Retrieval Augmented Generation and conversational data mining.
- Ability to annotate and validate large textual datasets.
- Analytical and reporting skills with data‑visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English (non‑negotiable).
- Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and project‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) are a plus.
