Job Specifications
Well-known entertainment client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to work with their team. This is a 40 hour/week, 18-month contract opportunity requiring 4 days/week in office in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote).
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or equivalent experience
5+ years of technical project management experience in Engineering or Information Technology showing increasing levels of responsibility
Project Management related certification or applicable experience
Familiarity with the following applications and environments: Service Now, SmartSheet, SharePoint, Snowflake, and Business Objects
Experience with SDLC - software development lifecycle
In-depth knowledge of technology, network, application management
Strong presentation skills that integrate a compelling story to drive efficient decisions to be made by both technical and operational leaders
Excellent written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional time and financial management skills
Ability to proactively find and address issues and risks
Ability to travel, work onsite, and after hours
Nice To Have
IBM Project Manager Professional Certificate
Previous technology role in IT or Engineering
Formal training and experience with agile, scrum, waterfall and other project development strategies
Experience with Maximo and Business Objects platforms
Key Responsibilities
Develop project schedules, estimates, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery.
Lead cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to meet performance, budget, and timeline goals.
Collaborate with clients to define system requirements and oversee implementation from briefing to closeout.
Manage project risks, issues, and communications with stakeholders.
Mentor fellow project managers and support continuous improvement.
Coordinate with IT and product teams to support application growth and rollout strategies.
Stay current with relevant technologies and best practices in project management.
Support product development for domestic and global sites and application growth.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
