Job Specifications

We are currently seeking a Python Quant Developer to join a global energy trading firm. The role will sit in the Trading Optimisation team which is responsible for optimisation models across all desks, with a heavy emphasis on Power, Gas and LNG.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing quantitative models to support a team of analysts in development practices. There will also be a focus on modernising and enhancing some of the legacy applications which are used by the group, all of which are Python based.

Key Skills

Strong Object-Oriented Python Programming
Understanding of Algo's and quant models.
Excellent database knowledge, including SQL and MongoDB
API Frameworks (Flask, FastAPI)
Prior experience in energy markets

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.

The salary for the role is up to £110,000 + bonus & benefits.
