Full Stack Engineer - Full Remote - Python/Next.JS $180k + Equity
We're an early-stage startup backed by venture capital, working on AI platforms to automate parts of healthcare. The goal is straightforward: help U.S. providers cut down on routine tasks so they can spend more time on patients. We use AI agents to handle workflows with existing tools and documents, keeping things reliable and scalable in an area where mistakes matter.
In this full-stack role, you'll work on a distributed system including a Python backend for task handling and queues, a Chrome extension for browser actions in healthcare sites, a Next.js frontend for setup and views, a Postgres database, and connections to things like Google Drive, Outlook, and EHR APIs. It's remote and full-time, with a preference for U.S. candidates who handle distributed systems well for steady, fault-tolerant setups. You'll team up with others to build secure systems that improve efficiency without cutting corners on safety.
You'll be solid in React/Next.js, SQL for databases, and APIs like REST or gRPC with secure auth. Know queues and messaging—Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka—for orchestration, and secure LLM work including calls and reasoning. Show you can deliver under deadlines in loose teams, with basics like encryption, enclaves, and HIPAA in mind.
