The Cookware Company is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator - Brands to join our dynamic internal Marketing and Creative Services team, based in New York City.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of the Brand Marketing team and will report into the Creative Marketing Manager. You will work closely together with the Creative team as well as the E-commerce, Marketing and Sales Teams to support and build our brands across all customer touchpoints: photography, video, content, packaging, digital advertising, E-commerce, social media, retail stores and more.
You will be supporting the Creative Marketing Manager, as well as the Associate Creative Marketing Manager, with the visual representation of our brands, with a specific focus on online selling and support of our many retail partners.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and planning skills, who is excited to be a part of a broader team and to bring our projects to life.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Support Creative Marketing Managers with development of best-in-class customer-facing experiences for all product, new launches and updates to existing collections.
Prepare retailer specific launch kits (pictures, copy, videos, etc.) for new products and brands.
Communicate daily with the sales team on needs and timelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure that our brands are consistently represented across all channels. In your mind, there’s always room for improvement.
Responsible for Asset Management: leverage Brand Folder as a gatekeeper for content, constantly evolving and improving leveraging of our assets.
Work with both Creative Marketing Manager and Associate Creative Marketing Manager to make sure all digital assets on BrandFolder, our Digital Asset Management system, are named and tagged correctly.
Build and maintain BrandFolder retailer portals for our account managers to easily find all information and assets they need.
Coordinate sample requests:
Manage all studio and PR sample requests.
Track sample inventories at our studios and with external photographers.
Build strong relationships Internally and Externally based on mutual respect for delivering shared project outcomes.
Support the national sales team through support of asset creation, creative project management and overall timely support of product launches.
Be a trusted, inspiring, and reliable partner for all sales colleagues.
Foster supportive retailer partnerships, working closely with peers at retailers to support and bring our initiatives to life.
Be a reliable partner and trusted guide to our creative teams (graphic designers, copywriters). Focus on clear expectations, efficient workflow and delivering high quality assets for our organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
1-2 years of Marketing, Communications, E-Commerce and/or Brand experience working across different communication channels.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Experience working directly with Bazaarvoice, Brandfolder, Syndigo, and/or SmartSheet a major plus.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
A strong track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional internal relationships.
Impeccable communication skills -- both written and verbal. You understand tone and how to write an effective email.
Experience assisting or managing multiple projects, in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
Scrappy, game for any task, able to adapt to change and organized.
Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks.
Ability to think creatively and come up with out-of-the-box solutions.
Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership.
Extremely detail-oriented. No spelling mistakes or brand/messaging inconsistencies get past you.
Preferable experience with Excel
Interest in cookware industry/cooking a plus!
