If you love diving into complex problems, shaping meaningful services and working with genuinely talented teams, this one’s for you. We’re supporting one of our long standing consultancy partners as they expand their contract network, and they’re looking for multiple senior level Service Designers to join their roster. Once onboard, you’ll be deployed onto one of their customer accounts to help define and deliver thoughtful, user centred services that make a tangible impact.

This consultancy is known for delivering modern, pragmatic digital solutions across enterprise and public sector environments. They work on high value, highly visible projects, and they approach delivery with a strong emphasis on agile ways of working, lean delivery principles and a deep respect for craft. They operate globally, but what matters most is the quality of thinking and collaboration that happens inside their teams.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be at the heart of multidisciplinary squads, working closely with user researchers, content designers and UX designers to bring clarity to messy problems and shape holistic end to end services. Your work will be grounded in research insight, supported by established design patterns and informed by how people actually behave in the real world.

Expect to roll up your sleeves and get into the details. You’ll map existing and future state services, unpack backstage and frontstage processes, identify every actor and interaction, and translate complexity into something that teams can understand and act on. You’ll be working in an environment that values fast feedback loops, continuous integration, sensible iteration and collaboration at every turn.

Responsibilities include

Mapping current and future services, including backstage and frontstage processes, user interactions and technical integrations
Pulling together insights from multiple sources and synthesising them into clear, actionable understanding
Designing full end to end services across online and offline touchpoints
Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and helping them understand how to evolve or improve their services
Collaborating with clients and colleagues to design and deliver digital products and services that genuinely meet user needs

What they’re looking for

Senior level experience owning the service design process in fast paced, iterative environments
Confidence using data and insights to inform evidence based decisions
Ability to bring order to complex systems and communicate them through clear artefacts such as service blueprints
A strong ability to navigate technical constraints and stakeholder trade offs while keeping user value at the centre
Confident facilitation skills, both face to face and remote
A strategic mindset with experience shaping roadmaps, prioritising effectively and influencing direction
