About The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst working within the Transformation Business Analysis Team, you will be working on a number of strategic programmes within the Transformation portfolio. You will be responsible for leading the business analysis within these key programmes and delivering them to a high-quality standard through to implementation.
This role plays a significant part in understanding the challenges faced by business and ensuring that the new solution alleviates these. You will contribute to the business process catalogue and shape this for your given portfolio. You will work closely with the programme lead and change lead within Transformation. You will lead junior business analysts who work within the portfolio and support them in delivering a high-quality output. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders as well as technology counterparts in delivering these transformations.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will
As a senior BA you will lead the business analysis for key projects through to successful implementation
Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges and ensure that the right solutions are delivered to resolve these
Liaise with business and technology teams to scope out a project and build estimates
Be responsible for scoping, estimating and organizing the BA activities within these projects
Be responsible for delivering high quality business analysis, improve business efficiencies and deliver improved service to the business
Provide business analysis expertise across the business aligned with methodology and tools driven centrally by the BA team including requirements gathering and creation of documentation to support change delivery such as business requirements, BPMN, user stories, wireframes and UAT
Remain current on Business Analysis practices, techniques, and tools
Build and contribute towards the process catalogue for your given portfolio. You will map, analyse and support the definition of new processes as needed.
Lead and engage a team of analysts and mentor junior BAs for projects within your portfolio
Engage and collaborate with business teams to ensure that change if captured and fed into the change process
Develop strong working relationships with business teams and internal and external stakeholders
About You
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with 5 years experience in delivering complex change initiatives end-to-end as a business analyst within Retail organizations - with a focus on Product systems
Experience of implementation of Retail/FMCG systems with knowledge of end-to-end Retail/FMCG processes and the impact they have across the value chain
Awareness of product management systems, product lifecycle management and associated downstream systems that these supply data to
Highly experienced in Business Analysis methodologies and tools related to business requirements, user stories, process mapping, process catalogue, data mapping, test cases, traceability and non-functional requirements
Experience of having tough conversations with stakeholders to negotiate and deliver difficult updates
Previous line management responsibility with the ability to motivate and mentor others
Ability to work independently, lead teams and raise risks as suitably to meet business deadlines
Excellent communication & analytical skills
Ability to run multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Fast learner who is able to learn about the multiple business areas, organisational structure and working methodologies
