We are partnered with a local non-profit in the data space to help them find a talented Director of IT. As the IT leader, reporting to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing a small team including one manager. If you are someone who has experience driving technology strategy, software development, and cloud transformation we should connect.

To be successful you will need the ability to shape the technology roadmap while still being somewhat close to the tech (not in the code, but not ivory tower either). So, if you are a hands-on IT leader that can lead teams to build modern systems that are both secure and scalable this should be to your liking.

Responsibilities

Lead technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives *Oversee software engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD practices *Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) *Ensure system reliability, incident management, and cybersecurity meets business needs *Mentor and grow a collaborative technical team and foster their growth

Desired Skills And Experience

10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least a few years in a leadership role *Strong background in software engineering and cloud technologies *Experience managing development teams, vendor relationships, IT budget *Ability to break down complex IT concepts to a varied audience
